sadly, the edge has been moved back. Joel, JUST FOR US, placed the edge further south again. Blackreach and the southern jungle and taiga biomes are now inaccesable. The edge is just 150 blocks south of phaxi (yay I remembered!)

BTW, the mages guild will be in blackreach. We will rebuild tier breche from menzoberranzan, wich is an acadamy for dark elves. There is a spider-shaped school for priestresses (only female), but I think I will not uild that one. Remaining are melee-machtere, the piramidical school for fighters, and the many spired school of wizardry, socere. I will concentrate on building socere, with enchanting, alchemy and other magical stuff. I will also build a giant pillar in the center of blacky, wich gives of light in the daytime! (switch with villager)

You need to have ppl IN your village as well. Maybe set a minimum for creating a village, Rustayy? or else it will soon look like western netherlands (where I live XD), where there isn't a square centimetre of nature left (except for some small forest (which are atificial most of the time) and farmland.

Maybe we can let loose some villagers in every town? so we can trade with them and it doesn't look so desolate?

I will work on this. Something like at least 4 players that are living in your village to make it into an official Glastpine town.

The capital is already set so we don't have to worry about that. And I think the numbers are good. Now just to wait for the border to leave..

Well, I invented this:

every week (or every 2 weeks) the inhabitants of a town vote for a mayor/jarl/count, that will be the boss of the town for the next week. You become a inhabitant by having a house AND dropping a sign of your name a special wall in the town hall, wich I think should be required for a village to be a village.
every month, the jarl/mayor/count of a town with 8 or higher inhabitants can be voted for by all inhabitants of the republic. the town in wich the mayor lives will be selected as temporary capital


so the requirements of a village are:
1. the president of the republic AND the jarl of the nearest city know and approve.
2. at least 4 inhabitants
3. at least 4 houses AND 1 town hall
4. a voted for mayor from among the village

Oh, and please refrain from being an.... I don't know what. You can always do that at school.

Those farm animals are not our fault, that is because they despawn if an admin stops intensive server activity.

PLEASE refrain from building cobblestone walkways, they are hell (or should I say nether?) ugly.

EDIT: all right, it looked pretty neat when I checked it out in person. Maybe, on the continent itself you can build roads? but please put them IN the ground, not above it

would it be possible to mae an infinite chest for written books? I just made a 16-page guide to alchemy, and i think it would be perfect for wizard towers and mages guilds.

As soon as I can get on I'm will help with anything I can help with; All republics need tourist attractions right ? So I'm thinking a hot spring type area, spleef courts, snowball fight arenas, clubs, gardens, museums, airports, stadiums, malls, etc. Also, it might be wise to bring in some villagers for emerald trading. I will leave the bigger, more influential buildings to Ezio and the other guys, so consider me a low grade builder. Also, we might want a mob farm and I know how to build a simple one that will basically spit out drops. Oh, and public events. Definitely public events.If you're thinking Skyrim, then maybe a few fake executions are in order.
