I wouldn't mind having my village as a sister city of the republic. I'd have us join but i'd rather self rule. Although if my village's ideals/values mirror the republics i'd consider it.
 
Most likely your village is way far from where we actually would like to have the republic, so we could be allies when we get towny

Can you post a picture of your village from dynamic map? I don't know if you village will be anywhere close to where we plan to start. Mostly because we want to build outside the world limit..

My village is located far southeast of the world limit
 
Oh you made it sound like you hadn't started building yet and were waiting to build farther out. Are you located south east of the map? If so i'm right nearby. And at the very least would love a road connection.
