Updating Problems

Hi Firetop geniuses. Um I tried updating my minecraft but while its updating it freezes. Help?

You might just be able to download the 1.3 .jar file and put it in. I dont know if it works though...

go to search in start, type %appdata% then enter the roaming folder, then .minecraft. Then delete the bin folder. done with that? then the game will auto-update itself.
