I disagree with this idea. I dont wanna waste my time searching for a chest which has sand and dirt! xD
I am sure this idea would cause tons of raging on the server xD
the classification of items in a certain chest don't seem fair to me, though it might just be me.
Out of curiosity, why is 'water' in the epic chests?

But you'll need to find all 24 fires. Also water isn't that rare. Just make a bucket and a 2 by 2 hole and fill it with two buckets of water. Getting to the stuff may be harder or easier than what the reward is worth. Oh well.
The chests, from what I have seen, are usually underground. Whilst searching for it with /hunt, you will need to be "0 blocks away" and then dig down until you find it.

the "water block" acts as water, just stackable and in no need of a bucket. after placement it does need a bucket to be retaken
Course it would. As a garbage chest it would be already filled and as a treasure chest that would suck as a reward for the perilous journey to it. Or is going to the chest supposed to be a friendship-is-the-true-treasure scenario, which would be meaningful, but aggravating in its own right.
Collecting it again with a bucket at some point defeats the purpose of going all the way for a water block, even if there is no need for a bucket.
Considering the water would likely eventually find it's way in a bucket I find it pointless to put a long journey in between just getting water with a bucket.
Of course it's just me. Now how about we post things about the treasure chests or something else other than water blocks.
