new laptop broken

So when you close the screen, then open it again, the machine won't boot anymore?

Yup cap lock light flashes and power button is lit

Did u allready tryed to press the on/off switch? when the pc is in energy saving mode or balanced mode, the hdd shuts down when going to sleep then u need to press on/off button.

If not u could try to dissable all the standby options, and set them to hibernate. sometimes that needs to be done via the bios.

and when u got it new, i assume u got warrenty so if problem keeps on happening i think it is best to bring it back to the shop and let them give u a new one. just saying before i let you do things that void the warranty xD

I absolutely have no idea what so ever what's wrong with your computer ._. However,as Caz said,I suggest you do get a new one with the warranty or have them fix it for you! Just hurry up before reaching the warranty's due date :I You wouldn't want that to happen.

Just dont screw the Computer up.The company that provides the warranty would just say it's your fault for breaking it!
Just turn the darn thing in and let them handle it.I just have this feeling that you've bought it second hand :I
