well im trying to use my new laptop and it keeps disconecting from the wire less network so i have to lock and unlock the laptop and it annoying when it does it whilst im playing games and downloading steam games so the smarter people of firetop please help

Hmm is the signal barely reach you or maybe your modem/router get interuppted. Try connecting somewhere close so you can cross out some possibility as they are million of reason you can get dced

You could try to reset the router / check every cable is okay, or maybe you are just too far away from the connection like varee said.

check your router's config. to make sure it doesn't automatically restart every certain period of time.This might be a reason for it to not work.Also i suggest turning off the router when not in need of internet connection to help the router work with a 100% efficiency.By the way,if none of the above work,check your router to see which light bulbs are on it.Make sure the one indicating internet is on!If its not on,check the cable connections like pea said and contact your ISP.(Internet service provider) Hope I helped
