What contributions have you made to the community that could make you a good Moderator? Help track down griefers with hawk eye, report players of using speed hacks, and helping others out with their builds.

What experience do you have helping others find solutions to their problems? The experience I get from helping others find solutions is that I know how others are and how new they are to smp or minecraft and so i know who needs more help than others; and also if i don't know how to solve a problem I can learn how to solve it by watching other staff solve them.

What do you think a Moderator's responsibilities are? I think moderators should respect players at all times, help players out even if you don't like them, being supervising all activity in the server and being confidential.

What is the importance of things being confidential as a Moderator? It is really important, for example, if someone finds a glitch and notifies you about it you can't tell other players because other players might abuse the glitch. You have to notify a staff member that can fix it immediately so it isn't found and abused.

I have helped people to the best of my ability like when people just join i try to help the get a place to live and give them food and supplies. I also let people mine in my mine until they get a mine of there own.

What experience do you have helping others find solutions to there problems? I have a deep pleaser helping people with there problems.

What do you think moderator's responsibilities are? I believe a moderators responsibilities are to help people when they need it no matter what, and if you cant help them ask someone who can help to help you and them so you learn how to do it the next time the need should arise.

What is the importance of being confidential as a moderator? The importance of confidentiality of being an moderator is important. If someone tells you something that they don't want you to tell anyone i believe you shouldn't unless it is severely important. or if someone tells you that something has happened to the server that shouldn't be told or else people will abuse it, it should be kept confidential.

What contributions have you made to the community that could make you a good Moderator? I help Newbies with getting to know the server; i help others build buildings; i give others advice; I report bugs that Newbies can Abuse (e.g, The Grassworld Inventory Bug.); etc.

What experience do you have helping others find solutions to their problems? Like any other Mod/Admin, I always ask the player what the problem is and will try to resolve it with all the skills I have. I gain most of my experience of helping others from observing Staff members but I am also somehow naturally helpful so that automatically gives me experience in finding solutions to most Problems. In addition though, if the situation is too hard for a Mod or unable to be done by a Mod, (e.g. World edit) I’ll ask an Admin and learn more on how to solve harder situations.


What do you think a Moderator's responsibilities are? I think a Mod's responsibilities are to prevent grief by keeping an eye on suspicious Players; help any player in need of assistance (e.g. A Newbie); supervise the activity of the whole server, looking for suspicious activity, and to overall "evolve" the server to be a safer, more enjoyable experience for all Players.

What is the importance of things being confidential as a Moderator? Being confidential allows players talk to staff about issues –who will not give issues away to the Public- which they wouldn’t tell to Normal Players because they might abuse it. This is important when Players find Bugs which will be abused if nothing is done to fix it. In addition, this also enables players to be able to Trust staff members, so it is very important to be confidential as a Moderator. In my opinion, Confidentially is one of the most important attributes of being part of the Staff because the server will just fall apart from bugs being abused over and over.

Hoping to Improve the Future of Firetop.

 

I am DragMeh, whether on the site or in the game. I'm super fluent in English (209 wpm), more than your average American fluent in Latin, and can speak Mandarin Chinese, but cannot read or write that way. I am in North America. Although an argument centered around me once got the server shut down temporarily, I think I can solve a conflict fairly and equally, or at least close enough. I have a reputation in school for being approached when the guidance counselor is busy. I believe a Moderator should be simply a mini admin, or a player who deals with cases the admins can't because they are busy with more important matters. Although a Moderator should tell anything to a admin should he or she ask, that doesn't mean the Mod has to tell it to the general public.

I also help sometimes noobs around. (If they ask tough) I have always griefers and if a see a griefer sometimes i disatract them with talking to them. But as a op online is i Pm it thad there's a griefer.

I helped many people in the server when there were no op's online also i have build sometimes home's with them ore mining ore i help them with their questions and sometimes i see someone breaking a block of a house then i ask them to put it back.
