Mob heads?!

When I was killin' blazes this day (I have joined 2 spawners that were close to eachother together), I got an item called 'blaze head'. however, As far as i know blaze heads don't exist (+all mob heads exept for the wither skeleton's are ungettable), and it looked like a normal steve head. Is there some kind of plugin on the server doing this? If so, what are hte possibilities and how do I get a REAL blaze head instead of a steve head that is slightly larger than my own?

EDIT:

it DOES show up as a blaze head now, the inventory icon is still a steve head. This suddenly happened when i logged in again 91st login after getting the head)
