I don't know much about GPU's, CPU's, and Motherboards so here is my second question.
I want to try and get this under $900, but I still want to be able to play high performance games (BF3, Crysis, etc) on at least High Settings. What can I change to get that?

Personally i would invest more in a GPU, the gtx650 will do his job ok, but for an i5 with 16Gb a better card would be a nice compliment for the high-end base. Also mind that the motherboard you chose does not support SLI (so you can't put 2 nvidia graphics cards in it).
1155 is a good way to go, still cpu's for that socket in development.
As you know i am a big AMD fan, so maybe if you want to save some extra cash for graphicscard, i suggest you to go with a FX-8xxx processor, in combination with a HD79xx graphicscard

Well I am trying to get the best bang-for-my-buck for under $900 on this build so what is the best GPU that I could get that is around the same price range?
For the motherboard I don't see myself running 2 graphics cards anytime soon, but I do want to future proof this as best I can. Other than performance boosts, what other bonuses does running to graphics cards have? Also, I believe it's called Crossfiring, or something like that.
And ok, I'll check into them. I'll have to research AMD sockets though, as I don't know much about them.. Haha

The cooling i use is the same as in the configuration on the picture i posted here. It works as good (maybe even a bit better) as an high-end air cooler. You can do some overclocking with it, my cpu is running stable at 3,6ghz atm.
I think you can save some money on the powersupply. I use a 700w psu that only cost me 60 euro's (+/- 78usd). The thing with psu is that is is the most basic part of the computer, there isn't much that can go wrong with it. If you stay with "trusted" brands like antec, ocz, coolermaster etc. you can always be sure it works. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that it has enough plugs for PCI (multiple graphics powerplugs) and hdd plugs. The cheaper psu's do the same as the expencive psu's, main difference is that they haven't got fancy cablemanagement.

With the cooler in my setup, it was easyer then putting on the aircooler i had before. You only need to mount the backplate on the motherboard, then place the copper parts on the chip. you get a metal ring that fits arround the copper part. Place the ring on, then thight the screws. The radiator you can place at the back of the case. First you need to mount the radiotor fan, it needs to pull air OUT of the case. Then you mount the radiator on the fan, so the air is pulled through.

lolz, closed system: The radiator is pre-filled with coolfluid. It doesn't need to be filled or something, it won't leak because you can't open the cooler.
