Hey guys, I see a lot of people that like posting topics and sorts, but when they post them they don't look very appealing. So today, I decided to make a topic on how to make professional looking posts.
You may ask, why do I need to make my posts look professional? I say, you don't, but if you would like to become an Admin, or even Moderator, then you would need to make your posts the best they can be.

Step 1: Very simple step, but must be used properly. Use proper grammar! If you typ3 l1k3 d1$, then not many people will read your post (or even be able to read it).

Step 2: Add pictures and videos! The human brain has a weird instinct that whenever it sees something "clickable" then it must click it!

Step 3: Use the toolbar! The toolbar has many useful widgets on it. It has the underlining widget, italic wiget, bold widget, and strikethrough widget.

Step 4: Switch it up! Use different fonts and font sizes! They could be used to show the title, or just to make your post different than all others!

Step 5: Use BB Codes! BB Codes make your post 10 times more professional. But only if you use them right. I will make a tutorial on how to use BB Codes soon, so I will update this post with the link when the post is up.

In hope I helped,

As you see here, small, colored text can make your post seem much more thought out. Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation can make your post not only look better, but you might even gain a little respect from the grammar-nazi's of the community. :) Smileys are good for showing your feelings.
For example:

"I am NOT in the mood for any bullcrap! >: ("

I would take the cue that this person is angry.

But you gotta keep in mind that choosing the wrong colour is worse than choosing not to insert any coloured texts.
It is a physiologically proven fact! Me myself the red or aqua colours make me feel that i am happy :) While dark colours such as dark green and This colour make me feel tensioned xD It may differ from one person to another, though.Try to choose light but not really bright colours, thats my opinion after all. :) I hope i was a bit of a helpful person :P

Yes but colors shouldn't be overused either. If you make a whole post with colors, then what's so special about them. Colors should be saved for special things.

Exactly, the same goes with bolding, italics, and underlines.
