FRICKING CRAZY NODUS STUFF

yesterday (aussie time) light and i were in the grass doing random stuff when some guy comes along and with one click he destroys a huge pixel art thingy. luckily christina stopped him but still there should be a plugin to stop the use of nodus and an easier protection plugin.( ive been on this server for around 2 years now and i still dont get it)

The thing is, is that NoCheat originally prevented nuker. But the thing is, is that Nodus evolves with NoCheat. There really isn't anyway to fix it other than to bring back the 5 block break limit like when the 1.2 server originally came out. (If anyone remembers)

Or we have to change the limit of res so you can protect bigger creations in the grassworld to . The best thing is when you can pay for your res. Not whit real money but whit mc money .

We need a IRC chat list in the firetopclient . Not only the IRC from nodus but from every hackclient we know .

i think an irc list would be too much, but letting trusted and supporters and anything like that have a bigger res area would be nice, or having newbie world back would be cool to filter the griefers. and having like group /msg or stuff like that would be nice too

if we do that it would basicly ruin the server. i think it would be better off if joel created a guest rank, that DOES add those 15-30 block break restrictions. but obviously, if the rank was called guest griefers would look to become defaults, so what i say is make another default group with another color, not too notable. and mods/admins can transfer those defaults to real defaults when they trusted them.

We're playing with the idea of enabling a block-break limit. Don't worry, this limit will be unreachable by normal players, but will prevent players using a Nodus-style block nuking system(breaking 9+ blocks at a time)

i believe nodus made plugins for servers against all stuff like nuker and ****, but today that i remembered it i went to nodus website and they had removed those plugins. if only i had downloaded them...

I JUST CAME WITH A FREAKIN GREAT IDEA ! what if we allow like nodus ****, but just for a while, and we should have our server developer team. so when we allow it, we can make like an admin or mod get the nodus client and the dev team can come up with a plugin for the server to stop it

The devs are already looking at ways to help prevent Nodus attacks, but one of the non-dev fixes for Nuking was already said by Blayde.
