Admins using the /killall command

Just wandering how often or why admin use that command . At first i think my animal despawn but now all my villagers died too so i think it becuase of the command. Am not too sad about the pasture animal but villager is hard to get. It would be nice if you can find a way to avoid killing the villagers. A plugin maybe?

I don't believe any admins use /killall. Mainly because I believe it should kill all the players. Most use /butcher which only kills hostile mobs.

Well i was talking with other guys and peanut and they said It the killall command that kill all entity

This is honestly the reason i became inactive on the server recently. After I don't know how many times of restarting my farm/village I decided it wasn't fun anymore.

/killall kills every entity, minus dropped items. However, /butcher kills the hostile mobs leaving the farm animals intact.
