admin training?

hi guys

Being admin is a lot of work, thing evryone agrees with that. Yesterday, i made a (very) big mistake with rolling back some griefed things, and sanya, redbee3 and 2 or 3 others lost a lot of stuff. I think this could have been prevented by some kind of admin training. Admins have a very difficult job, that asks much of knowledge about the commands, working with people and many other things.

I also want to apologize for the damage i have done to others work, i hope my mistake can be forgiven by all those who lost their items or buildings.

I totally agree. If I would be made admin I wouldnt know what to do, while a lot of people are saying 'admin, I have been greifed. admin, help me. admin, can i have a free ocelot?'.
also, a lot of admins heve been selected recently, and they never do anything, just flying around like 'oh look. Im admin. now im cool.' ive never seen those guys before, admin or not. (Cubi, I dont count you among those )

We do have an introduction for our new admins, and for our admins that have been here a while, they are expected to know more of these things and how to do them properly. Of course, we have recently been looking into a new way to train our new administration staff, allowing admins who would like to take it to do such.

think that the main problem is time, it is very hard to get all new admins online at same time for a training...

CuBi i wouldnt get down on yourself u helped out a lot. And before we became good friends i was kinda annoying u on my seperate account thouse97 in the newbie world, i was like grief. another grief. wow alot of griefs lol. I agree with u though training should be needed.. i still dont get the /res command lol
