1.5 Update Info!

Whats up guys and gals,

Probably most of you have spotted the "Time gauge" on the right side of the home page stating the ETA of the server update to "Minecraft 1.5". There's been a ton of questions being asked by players and most of the questions still remain un-answered. So I'll go on making a post about the whole server update which will be taking place very soon,hopefully.

Minecraft 1.5 info​

The most important aspect which has been implemented into the latest version of minecraft is the "Redstone update" which hopefully would make the game A LOT more fun for you "Redstone Freaks" out there For those of you whom arent up to date,you could find all the details of the "Redstone update" here . Apart from the "Redstone update",there is also a new block added! "Quartz" is the name of the block. Furthermore, a ton of new changes have been added! I hope you're excited for this update as I am!~ Check this link for a video mentioning almost all the updates which will be added to the next version of Minecraft!​

World reset!​

​

A ton of players have been bringing up a ton of questions which haven't been answered yet! Will the main world reset or will it just be the nether? Will there be a new spawn? Can we keep our money? ​

So here's the answer to most of the above questions. So far,Joel Samson (Owner) has decided to have all the players start from scratch. Everything will be as if you joined the server for the first time,wou won't have a chest this time to fill with your items,you'll unfortunately have our default kit which is obtainable upon joining the server. ​

Donations.​

The server Administration is still campaigning on whether to add ranks to the donations sections or just leave it as it is,just plain individual perks. Please feel free to mention what you think of this in the comments! Your feedback is what makes us grow better. ​

Enable firespread
Enable Creepers
Fix the mob spawn rates (they are like 0 right now)
Do something about /killall

Hello! I am a dear friend of Avenger and my developer for my server has just coded a semi-stable build for 1.5. If any staff would like it to keep the server as 1.5 and speed the process then PM me.

 

The idea to start from scratch is a really nice one, tough many people won't like this, but i do!

Good! Because this is what MC is about. TECHNICALLY i could of kept the world the same..
But we all know the start of 1.4.7 was iffy, not very well thought out and then we had bugs and issues and world gen problems.

So i thought this time we are gonna get it right. I have given myself MANY days to test things in advance before release. So lets hope this release is smooth Plus the whole point of the game is to mine and craft! And once you already crafted the game can become a bit slow.

So a reset gives you the opertunity to lets the creative process flow again

Let's hope I can find another nice village

Its the same world seed

So I've been around the world a bit and found some villages and since its on the same seed they might be around the same place you were before :3 I'm sure you'll find one easily (With the Dynmap too)

I have strong hopes that you will find diamond on this server Haha. The world generation isn't broken this time around. So you wont find like 30 diamonds together.

But they will be in the same areas! Although i do have anti-xray now so no more tricks you little buggers! Haha

another reset so quickly? i kinda want this and i kinda dont. i hope i can find a good island in the ocean
also it would be a good idea to reset the map AFTER the update instead of a couple weeks before one
plus can't we keep some stuff like redstone. i mean it is a redstone update after all.

p.s.: Wait a minute, the server uses custom world gen?

they won't give the world seed since you can just fly around in creative singleplayer and find diamonds

Yes, we cant give you the seed unfortunately. Although its not hard to find the seed if you really need to find it. I simply wont tell you how!

I didn't X-ray when I came into the server then I go to wilderness portal. And I found cave/ravine and and I go to the bottom part and I found it. There was a admin I forgot his name I ask to come and see me I promise I didn't cheat. I only have 7 diamonds. Check my chest

I saw a raided pyramid once, someone took the entire pyramid with WE

 

Am offering reward for whoever find me a triple spawner that is not cave spider, it will contain 40 diamond and 20 ironblocks
all the spawner have to be with in 30 block of eachother
