There's no limit to the number of homes I set right? Because I use them to teleport from island to island, as I don't want to spend twenty minutes each time I want to return just sailing across the sea again.

Right now, you can have as many /sethomes as you want, as long as you name them all differently.
However, this may change in the future, but it has not been discussed.
