Mojang account Creation

Ello der guyz,

I was just registering a Minecraft account to buy the game.When I hit register in the top right corner,It immediately redirected me to the Mojang account creation page.

After wards,I registered on the Mojang website with all the info required!
It asked me for everything,even my first GF's name o3o,but it just didnt include my MC username!

Just asking some MC veteran about what i should do about that :l

P.S:I checked the support on Mojang concerning registering an MC username!It just said that when i hit Register it would take me to the old registration page :l But that's just NOT right XD!

I think the policy changed, you got to get a mojang account first then you can link that up with a minecraft account if you decide to buy one, but am not 100%sure

It's to make your account more secure. That way if your account gets hacked, you can retrieve it from the mojang page. You will have to sign in with an email though instead of just a username.

It's sad how they changed that now, you gotta register back then you make an account and buy a game therefore getting the game without having a Mojang account.

Well the problem is,how do i make my username??It's driving me crazy! I've tried everything and it just didnt ask me to set my username :l Thanks for the help anyway.
