Ideas and Suggestions for the Future of Firetop

Hey everyone!

I've been wondering, what are some of the things you guys would really like to see us add? Anything like an official Spleef arena, RPG world, or Capture the Flag event? Let us know and we will consider it as long as it's not outrageous (i.e. 1000 diamonds each week)!

I will be checking this thread daily and considering your suggestions!

A build-off arena! In another server they had this, it was really fun. There would be this giant arena, with 4 corners that have walls around them so they don't see the other people's build. 4 players would be picked to build, and they would get a corner. In a chest you would clear your inventory, and a different one would have blocks. You use these blocks to build something themed- if an admin that is hosting this says towers you build a tower of some sort! By the way, you have 1 minute to build. Please consider this

A Race course but not like a sprint one like make it so you can full off have to swim run over soalsand swim etc and add prizes for more competativnes

And a Like true or false thing were people stand on a piston platform if the stand on wrong one they full out of the arena
and ask questions about the server etc

I think we should have more organized events, that way are players have something to do and something to look forward to on the server. Whether that be spleef tournaments or like you suggested, capture the flag events, etc. I do think we need to think of things to motivate players to continue playing and spreading the word about how wonderful our server is.

I had another idea, how about some different PVP fights? What I mean by this, is different gamemodes basically. Instead of just going toward each other and PVPing(and the capture the flag idea is really cool though.) Maybe one where you have TNT, and you need to place it in/on a certain area and detonate the tnt. One team is offenders/tnt placers and the other is defenders(may need a new plugin for teams) Kinda like the "Demolition" gametype from MW3, or "Rush" from BF3.

I think there all great ideas and i love building stuff like outposts spleef arenas contest type games eg. Rollercoaster races were u push buttons to go faster. So i would love to help with any buildings

I was thinking you guys could cut down on the server crashes and lag. That'd be great.

(This is 2012 and a multiplayer server can't handle 6 people? Come on.)

The thing is is that it can. It's had around 30 people at once. I think there's just a lot of bugs that need working out. Otherwise the server has virtually no lag
