Edge of the world?

I started the new server and the spawn looked excellent. Then I adventured really far out into the world when it said- You have reached the end/edge of the world or something like that. Would it be possible to let me venture in the world of Firetop limitlessly?

I think that it was set up to reduce lag

Hopefully this will be lifted when the lag issues are solved
