I was wandering through the forums and I just thought to myself "I should make a post sharing my opinion about the server and about what i think should be done to improve!".So there it is:-
1.I really do believe that hosting many Events could get the server's population higher and higher,and make it much more fun!Even if events are set on a certain time,this would be a motive for players to come on at that time to participate!
I know the the event hosting person is a bit busy,but i dont believe having a simple fun event is much of a hard task.However,I believe that having a softcore server without events cant be!Softcore is all about playing MineCraft for fun and to relax,while this doesn't seem much of it :l
2.Reseting the world:I really do believe that a world reset would be really cool!After all,this world isnt that much fun anymore.Furthermore,players are starting to have loads and loads of precious items and ores!On top of all that,Softcore servers aren't so fun after a certain limit as there is no challenge,you have your house your gear and ther's not much to do
.So i believe thats why a world restart could be fun!
3.I seriously think that having staff more often could be nice,I rarely see'em on and im not really sure if they ever do come on!All I have seen so far is Admins retiring :l I've only seen from the Admins KillaTrix,PeanutBrick,As for mods i have only seen Megav365 a.k.a Megur
Helpers are the most of all active,whether its skeldritch or MagicSpook or JimmySR.Anyways,I cant really judge staff now concerning who of them comes on and who doesnt,but all i know is that they should be more active!I know that they come on to the server on daily basis,but i dont think thats really enough :L
4.How about having more ranks? It could be much much more fun!
I.E:Having ranks for players who PVP alot,there are plugins to count the kills such as Kills+,but they could be cheated by palayers boosting and helping each other to get higher kill score :L.On the other hand,it seems much of a good idea to have lots of ranks for people to look forward to!Not just have 5 ranks or so.Me myself,when i get promoted on a server,it drives me more to play on it!
I could make a whole Thread about Ideas for rank names,but i guess that would be more suitable for the RPG server and I'm sure KillaTrix has already consumed the idea in the RPG server!
