Well I watched a few videos with a minecraft hunger games PVP. when someone dies they are sent into a flying mode but they can't give stuff away, they can only watch. Players can not break any blocks ( execpt mushrooms) and their are chests hidden that have armor, food, wepons, and usless stuff...

I was thinking it would be fun to have a hunger games event in a PVP like arena, different people join and once their dead, their dead. an also hide chests with different items that could help someone. Just an idea And may the odd's be ever in your favour
